Description
Power data without the complexity of a spider-based system. The Rival XPLR AXS E1 Power Meter measures left-leg output and doubles the figure to estimate total power, which works well for riders with reasonably balanced pedal strokes. SRAM integrates the strain gauges directly into the left crank arm, keeping the chainring and spider as standard components you can swap without affecting power measurement.
The unit broadcasts over ANT+ and Bluetooth simultaneously, so your head unit and phone can both receive data without pairing conflicts. Accelerometer-based cadence means no magnets to install or align. A rechargeable battery sits in the crank arm with a claimed 400-hour runtime, and you top it off via magnetic USB charger rather than hunting for coin cell batteries mid-season. Firmware updates happen through the AXS app.
This crank arm ships without a chainring or bottom bracket, so you'll pair it with your existing XPLR direct mount ring and DUB bottom bracket. The wide-narrow tooth profile keeps the chain secure over rough terrain, and the 1x-specific design means no front derailleur compatibility to worry about. DUB spindle works with the full range of DUB bottom brackets across BSA, PF30, BB30, and T47 shells.... Read More
