SRAM did make changes with XX1 AXS Rear Derailleur, It features a shorter cage for 10mm more ground clearance, with more chain wrap on the cassette to sit slightly further forward, and further inboard from mechanical Eagle. The Eagle AXS derailleur is smart enough to protect itself thanks to its incredibly resilient Overload Clutch. In the event of an impact, the motor gearbox disengages, giving the derailleur freedom to move, and instantly returns back to its position for a seamless experience for the rider. For fast wheel changes, the CageLock system is carried over from the mechanical version. The AXS system is tested to IP69K water and dust proofing standard for creek crossings, mud splatters and the resulting post-ride pressure washings. The trail-ready derailleur has a full carbon cage and titanium hardware, and is designed to work with solely with SRAM X-Dome Eagle cassettes, providing the most precise, silent, and reliable shift performance available.

The cassette is the same awesome XG-1299 10-50 version developed for XX1 Eagle 12 mechanical, but in a distinctive rainbow colorway. This an XD driver compatible cassette with all the SRAM Eagle tech, such as X-Glide 2 tooth profiling and physical shifting characteristics, along with X-Dome architecture- SRAM's cassette manufacturing technology provides the greatest durability and lightest weight possible. The XX1 version has a machined steel cluster of 11 cogs affixed to 50T machined aluminum cog, which keeps it light at 350 grams, but is more durable than the XX1 version. Unlike road AXS, the Eagle uses the Flow Link 12-speed chain, at the XX1 level. The Rainbow finish is ultra durable, while the shaped, varying thickness inner walls of the plates mesh perfectly with X-Glide cogs and chainring teeth for excellent retention and smooth, fast rear shifts.

The XX1 Eagle DUB is SRAM's lightest mountain crankset thanks to the DUB spindle and BB technology. The re-engineered design employs proprietary Carbon Tuned lay-up technology, light, resilient and stiff as hell. The Direct Mount X-Sync 2 chainring provides significantly quieter performance, with better mud clearing, retention and extraordinary durability. Given the variety of frame designs, the groupset does not provide a bottom bracket, you just need to purchase the proper DUB version for your frame.
