Stan's NoTubes spent countless hours spent working with their road pros and cyclocross team to create what just might be the ultimate disc-specific wheelset for road, cross and gravel. This ZRT Grail wheelset features NoTubes well known and proven Bead Socket Technology for enhanced tire performance and super easy bead seating. As a bonus, the rim shape of the Grail has a slightly aero 24.5mm profile making it Stan's most aero rim ever produced.

Bead Socket Technology and a 24.1mm external width (20.3mm internal) work hand in hand to maximize tire performance. the wide platform allows the tire casing to spread out and make a larger contact patch with the ground. This improves corner grip as well as lowering rolling resistance. The wider rim also increases the amount of air volume which in turn allows the tire to be run at lower pressure. This lower pressure means that the bumps will be smoothed out, which improves comfort. Unlike with narrow rims, the wide platform supports the tire sidewall so that you can corner with more confidence, as there is no tire flop. Lateral stiffness and drivetrain efficiency are improved in the Plus wheels due to the increased width.

Bead Socket Technology features short sidewalls and a wide inside rim cavity for lower tire pressure creating a firm tire feel with decreased rolling resistance. So in addition to virtually eliminating the possibility of flats, you get a leak-free seal with tubeless and better tire performance with either tubeless or with a regular tire and tube setup.
