Terry's Fly Ti Saddle has long been a favorite of many male cyclists across all levels and disciplines. The base Fly Ti gets two major improvements. First the obvious thin layer of gel across the top of the foam, which offers a little more protection without feeling squishy or soft. The second is the removal of the center nose seam, which will be welcomed by every cyclist who pulls forward for short term pedaling leverage or when when distributing weight forward for better handling.

The foam that Terry uses for the Fly Ti Gel is the same as that used in the Fly Ti- an injection-molded product is incredibly resilient over time. It does break in some and accommodate bone structure, but still retails support. The tail of the saddle features firmer version of the foam, for greater stiffness when pedaling and to provide consistent skeletal support. The overall height of the saddle is the same across both versions, meaning the thin gel layer supplants a slight amount of foam. Terry has these saddles made to their specification in Italy, by a very well known manufacturer, and the leather cover, screen printed graphics, and impeccable base construction are all top-notch. The nylon composite shell retains its shape, with slight flex and give, while Titanium 316 round rails are strong, offer vibration and impact damping, and keep the structure light.

At 277mm long and the 140mm width, this is saddle that can literally be used for all but triathlon and time trial. The central cut-out eases peritoneal pressure for most users. Many riders who prefer the Fly shape use either the same, or various versions across all their bikes.
