The Veloce sunglasses from Tifosi can be considered cycling specific, due to shape, profile and lens angle, however the clean style and overall effect of this individual lens sport sunglass can be worn anytime without you feeling like the Terminator. For the frame, Tifosi uses Grilamid TR-90, a nylon material characterized by an extremely high alternative bending strength, low density, and high resistance to chemical and UV damage. The ear and nose pieces are adjustable and coated with a hydrophilic rubber prevent slippage, even when coated with water or sweat. The lenses are true polycarbonate, which is scratch resistant and shatterproof, and treated to be 100% effective at blocking UVA/UVB rays. Each Veloce comes with three vented lenses (Smoke, AC Red, and Clear), and other options are available from Tifosi. Each lens is optically decentered to eliminate distortion and mitigate distracting magnification in the curved lense. Overall lens coverage from outside to outside across the entire front section of the Veloce is 132mm.
