Hydration packs bounce. That's the fundamental problem with carrying water on technical terrain—the load shifts and swings with every bump, throwing off your balance when you need stability most. USWE built the MTB Hydro 3L around their No Dancing Monkey harness system specifically to eliminate that movement. The NDM 1.2 harness uses a 4-point elastic suspension that lets you cinch the pack tight against your back without restricting breathing or arm movement. The pack stays planted through rock gardens, drops, and high-speed compressions where a conventional pack would be fighting against you.

The harness adjustability covers a wide range of torso sizes. Horizontal and vertical velcro straps let you dial in the fit, and integrated elastic panels expand with your chest during hard efforts so the pack maintains constant contact without constricting your lungs. A one-handed NDM buckle clicks securely into place and releases cleanly when you're done. USWE designed the shoulder straps with ventilation channels and paired them with a wave-profile back panel that promotes airflow, which helps when you're working hard on climbs or in warm conditions.

Total capacity runs 3 liters, but the external organizer pocket detaches if you want to strip down to 2 liters for race day or high-intensity efforts. That removable pocket holds your multi-tool, spare tube, phone, and keys—the essentials you'd otherwise stuff in jersey pockets. The included 2.0L Elite bladder features a slider opening wide enough to fit ice cubes and simplifies cleaning and drying between rides. A Plug-n-Play tube coupling makes connecting and disconnecting quick, and a magnetic clip keeps the drinking tube accessible while you ride.
