Tire pressure is the setting most riders guess at and almost nobody checks mid-ride. Zipp answers that with the 303 SW, which builds the AXS Wheel Sensor into the rim itself instead of hanging hardware off the valve stem. Pressure reads in real time on a paired AXS device, and a green-light pre-ride check confirms the wheel is ready before you roll out.

The rim underneath the electronics is a 40mm deep hookless carbon section with a 25mm internal width, shaped using design cues borrowed from the gravel-focused 303 XPLR. Zipp optimizes the profile for 30-35mm tires, a change in emphasis from the 28mm focus of the outgoing Firecrest generation, and that platform allows those tires to run at lower pressures. A revised carbon layup raises impact strength by roughly 10%, and the reshaped sidewall helps shield the tire from the kind of hit that ends a ride with a pinch flat.

Two compatibility points matter before you commit. The hookless bead requires tubeless tires drawn from Zipp's approved list, and sealant must go in through the supplied injector — adding it any other way floods the AXS Wheel Sensor and can damage it beyond repair.
