The 3T Accelero 40 Pro is crafted as an all-purpose wheelset with a real aero benefit. It is designed with the same advanced aerodynamic R&D as 3T's carbon Accelero and Mercurio wheels for exceptionally low drag and excellent stability in all conditions.

The rim of the Accelero is 37mm deep and 23mm wide and made from aluminum with a milled braking surface for reliable braking in all conditions plus exceptional strength and reliability. A 37mm section with a blunted edge delivers the latest aerodynamics and stability in crosswinds.

Its wider 23mm rim width puts the Accelero in the new generation of wheels - a la HED Belgium and Firecrest - that provide improved strength, aerodynamics and more solid handling. Aerodynamics receive a boost due to a smoother transition from tire to rim creating improved laminar airflow. Better ride quality and more solid handling are created by better support of the tire with reduced tire deflection in corners. So say goodbye to squishy, squirrelly cornering and rail descents with confidence. Improved tire alignment over the rim allows lower tire pressure and reduces the chance of pinch flats.

The Accelero Pro 40 is built with regular butted J-bend spokes and had external nipples for easy truing. Alloy 3T hubs rotate on smooth cartridge bearing. Classy matte black and white graphics match other 3T Pro level components and give the Accelero Pro a high-end appearance. Shimano/SRAM compatibility.
