The Pompadour is constructed for 30 different patterns and 22 different textiles and components, each with a specific task. The jacket features Assos's twinDeckFoiling technology. This means the front chest panel is a double-layer construction on one piece of fabric, as opposed to two different fabrics sewn together. This cuts down on volume and weight. It is a combination of stratagonUltra airBlock textile on the outside and RXQ waffled fleece fabric on the inside. The rear panel features Assos RX textile for enhanced ventilation. This allows the iJ.pompaDour to wick away water vapor effectively. The rear panel has an integrated stabilizer which enables the garment to click onto your body, reduce vertical stretch and keep loaded pockets from sagging.

The Assos AEPD Anatomical fit is ergonomically pre-shaped and tailored to fit the athletic female body in the cycling position.
