It's a jersey with a long name, one which could almost be considered nomenclature, so let's break it down: SS is short sleeve, grandprix is the garment name and evo8 is the current generation of product from Assos. The Grand Prix is the least expensive jersey in the Assos range, yet the choice of many staff, due to it's simple and easy approach in design. Five anatomic panels serve up a tight shadow fit, in a complete package that weights a scant 128 grams (medium).

Assos Type151 fabric is used throughout the Grand Prix. This fabric has been designed to have a soft hand for comfort, with perfected moisture management and cooling properties. This 3D knit denier material allows the structure closest to the body to gently ride on the skin, while easing moisture away and transferring it to the outer part of the structure for release. Incoming air helps facilitate the process to keep you cooler by drying the outgoing perspiration. Elongated and vented mesh under arm panels actively work to cool you down in an area were perspiration is high, while exposure to direct air-flow is diminished.
