Castelli's full-protection Sorpasso 2 Wind Bib Tights rest at the top of the Sorpasso range. They feature the same build and construction as the standard Sorpasso 2 full length tight, with the addition of Gore Windstopper X-Fast 2 membrane placed in the thigh and knee panels, which helps drop the temperature range to 25°-50°. The low volume and breathable design allows you to ride at colder temps, but will not cook you when the mercury rises.

The Sorpasso 2 Wind's front leg panels are constructed of Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric and feature Gore's Windstopper X-Fast 2 textile added to the thigh and knee regions. The two lower rear panels of the tight are constructed of Castelli's Thermoflex Core2 fabric. This unbeatable pairing is the trifecta for keeping your legs protected from the elements. Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric combined with Windstopper, provide both wind-proofing and a wet weather barrier with moisture control. Thermoflex Core2 is a soft and breathable micro fleece, which offers compression and venting and is placed in the rear of the garment, where weather protection is not paramount. The flat and elastic suspenders give plenty of support while remaining low profile. The bottoms of the tights are finished off with 10cm YKK zippers.

The Progetto X2 Air seat pad is low volume and serves up comfort and performance with clever design and quality construction. The X2 Air seat pad has two distinct layers, which you can think of as top and bottom. The top layer is a thin and soft top sheet, which is high-wicking, anti-chafing, anti-bacterial and easy to clean. Directly below this top sheet lies the cushioning layer. This layer features a variable thickness and extra viscous pads which cradle the sit bones and perineum. Slightly perforated top indents help dissipate heat and friction, with total seat pad thickness coming in at 8mm.
