The CycleOps Mag+ trainer with adjuster is a quality indoor trainer that features five adjustable resistance levels. This allows you to fine-tune the resistance because you can shift gears to increase or decrease resistance plus there are 5 different resistance settings that are controlled via a handlebar mounted lever.

One of the benefits of the adjustable resistance is you can maintain an ideal cadence and heart rate. Another benefit is you can use gears that provide the best chain line since resistance is not totally gear dependent.

The magnetic resistance is on the quieter end of the scale as far as trainer go. The resistance is more linear than progressive so it handles accelerations and constant speed workout equally well.
