The Keo Blade Carbon CR pedals sits at the top of the Look road pedal line-up.The Carbon CR features Look's distinctive blade design, with the star of the show being the 22mm wide carbon fiber blade, that is nested into the center of the carbon pedal body. The blade functions as a lever for pedal entry and exit, while adding rigidity to the pedal body for a more solid platform. This means the carbon blade acts as the pedals body's spine. Its firm lateral composition offers both support and structure, while its longitudinal flex permits easy entry and exit. This brilliantly simple design is easy to service with just a few standard tools.

The pedal body is constructed of carbon fiber. Carbon is the ultimate choice over alloy or composites, due to the immense amount of durability and strength you can create with a minimal amount of material. This wide carbon body is is fitted with a massive 700mm² stainless plate. This sets the stage for the ultimate platform for pedaling performance. The bonded stainless sheet also provides durability and smooth glide during cleat rotation. The carbon pedal body spins on a precisely machined Chromoly axle. The axle is fitted with both sealed ball and needle bearings that are fully serviceable and replaceable. The combination of pedal body and spindle on the Blade CR yields an incredibly low 13mm stack height.

The Blade Carbon CR pedals are available with three release resistance levels, each based on the stiffness of the carbon Blade. Choose 12Nm if you are new to the system, or prefer less release resistance. Experienced riders and racers generally prefer the 16Nm option and it's greater resistance, other riders that focus on retention may opt for the 20Nm version. The Blade Carbon pedals include a pair of 4.5-degree float Keo Grip cleats. These feature soft rubber pads to help prevent slipping on slick surfaces. They also provide a tighter fitment between the cleat/pedal interface.
