Not long ago you picked a frame, you picked a fork and you picked your components. Now you get a frameset and you let the manufacturer decide what fork you get. Well why should they have the last say? A fork is now a performance upgrade and Enve's middle name is performance.
Enve has developed a proprietary process for composite layup and molding. This process allows them to create the entire fork, from legs to steer, all in one process. This is important for reasons that engineers can talk about for hours. The basics are, it eliminates bonding between parts and creates a continuous line in the carbon between all elements of the fork. These two factors increase the strength of the fork while limiting the weight. The 2.0 fork is a Tapered design for bikes requiring a 1-1/8" by 1-1/2" design. If you want to increase the performance of your bike and reduce weight as well, it might e time to look at a fork upgrade.
