Inexpensive replacement chainring that is perfect for single ring/fixed gear application because of the non-profiled tooth design. Profiled teeth tend to guide the chain off the ring during shifting when used as a single ring. 42T is considered the best size to get for single ring cross and 44T is standard issue for a front ring for your fixie rig - although some will use a 42T if you really want to spin it out. Also works great for replacing worn chainrings on the cheap.
