The Gamma is a slightly heavier, more affordable version of the top of the line model. It has a twin flex graphite shell and a softer cover which contribute to comfort along with its slightly wider 142mm width. The Aliante is a staff favorite at Excel Sports Boulder and several of us have ridden many thousands of miles on the Aliante model.
