The Bell designers offer a lot of trickle down technology with the Array helmet. It has many of the same of many of the higher end Bell helmets, except it is not quite as light or vented. The focus here is on value per performance. In this category, the Array is tough to topple from its perch.
The Array has Bell's Fusion In-Mold Microshell treatment. The Microshell is actually bonded to the EPS foam layer and combined with an In-Mold bottom wrap that covers areas that are less durable. A total of 24 vents adorn the Array to make it one of the more vented and cooler helmets in it's class. These vents are a combination of air intake and heat porting vents that work in tandem to keep cool air flow circulating around your head.
Thanks to Bell's Twin Axis Gear cradle, it is easy to get the Array to fit perfectly to your head. Simply rotate the dial to open and close to you find your desired tension. The straps are a breeze to size up and adjust due to the simple and clever camlock lever.
