The 11 speed Campagnolo rear derailleurs are unique from any other derailleur design on the market due to the fact that the carbon body completely envelops and wraps the inner body. This creates not only unique look, but more importantly and super stiff platform to move and pilot the chain. The patented UltraShift geometry works in tandem with this ultra stiff body to give the ultimate in rear shifting performance.

This version of the Chorus 11 rear derailleur features black-out graphics to match the rest of the group and give consistency with the aesthetics, in contrast to the older polished steel/carbon look. A scalloped allot bolt is used to fix the rear changer to the frame saving aprrox 10 grams from the steel fixing bolts of old. Both pulley wheels are hollowed out for more weight saving and have a classic 'spoked wheel' look to them.

This rear derailleur is more or less a Record derailluer sans ceramic bearings in the pulley wheels and a carbon cage plate.
