3T Ergonova Pro Handlebar
The 3T Ergonova Pro is the alloy model of the famed carbon Ergonova Team handlebar. The wide, somewhat oblong tube profile of the top section of the bar is the most recognizable feature of the design. 3T designers refer to the profile as egg-shaped because it is a cross between round and oval. It is extremely comfortable and a natural fit to your hands. The drops have longer radius angle where the bar bends forward towards the brake/shift levers to provide more room on the tops and a smoother transition to the controls. This a bar that feels great and delivers exceptional cockpit hand positions for even the most discerning riders.
The bars are built with triple butted 7075 aluminum that has been shot-peened and anodized. The material and engineered design ensure excellent stiffness under the heaviest sprinting load to match the comfort provided from the ergonomic shaping. Simple but effective white graphics on the black bars look great and are characteristic of all 3T Pro level product.
It's important to note that the bars are measured center to center at the ends of the drop. Each end flares out by 6° less than one centimeter each. This effectively means that the bars are 16mm narrower at the hoods. For example, the size 44cm measures 440mm c-c at the drop ends, while the c-c measurement at the hoods is actually 424mm. The Ergonova is offered in the standard 31.8mm bar clamp diameter. If you want a great fitting and performing cockpit without paying the carbon premium, the Ergonova Pro Handlebar is a great option. The alloy construction gets the job done, is very durable, light, and cost effective. 3T does a great job with their full line of products and their aluminum bars are still a top seller.

Cat II rider for 25 yrs. Thought I'd hate these bars. I've always used a deep drop long reach bar. I thought the shape of this bar was all wrong but thought I should at least try it. One ride and I am converted. Love everything about these bars. The egg shape top is very comfortable and the shorter reach
Pros Plenty stiff enough and comfy.

On all the handlebars I have had over the last 11 years - with the usual drop and reach - my fingers were just not long enough to get the brake levers while in the drops, even with shifter-shims. Decided to try the Ergonova shorter drop and reach. PERFECT in every way!

Couldnt decide between carbon and aluminum model. Chose this one because I wasnt sure about the shape. I absolutely love the shape (hand size L) and now I wish I had put the money towards the carbon version. This may be a little heavier than other similar bars but felt stiffer in the shop. I recall mine weighed around 300g in the shop. A great bar for a practical price.
