The Mavic FTS-L pawl and spring kit includes two pawls and two springs (sometimes Mavic includes an extra spring because they are easy to lose). Replacing the pawls and springs in your FTS-L cassette hub body can make the engagement crisp again if it becomes a little sluggish. Our mechanics like replacing their pawls and springs once a year because it reduces hub wear in addition to improving cassette engagement.
