The SRAM Force rear derailleur now features a unidirectional carbon cage and Red-inspired graphics. It features Exact Actuation™ for easy set up and precise shifts. Exact actuation means the derailleur moves 3mm for every shift over the entire cassette so even and exact shifts occur over entire shifting range. The Force rear derailleur has a very wide adjustment range so it can function with bent derailleur hangers and other issues. It is able to handle rear cassettes up to 28 teeth and standard or compact cranks.

    After using Campy Veloce and Chorus I’ve switched to Force and wow what sharp and crisp shifts. The dual tap system really works with this rear derailleur. No need to trim with your thumb as you do at times with Campy. The extremely quick and clean drop down the cogs is a real strong point when you are sprinting with this derailleur. I’m used to long cage derailleurs so this short cage is a bit crowded when trying to remove the rear wheel so make sure you are in the smallest cog when changing a flat. Otherwise this derailleur is a dream.
