The Cervelo P2 continues to enjoy incredibly popularity thanks to its no-nonsense delivery of performance and its comfortable geometry. One ride will quickly demonstrate that not all triathlon bikes are created equal.
The P2 is part of the P-series, made for the battle against the clock from prologue to the Race Across America and from sprint triathlon to Ironman. It uses Cervelo's tried and true geometry that places the rider in a fast, well supported and comfortable position. The P2 features aerodynamic tube shapes to reduce drag specifically at bicycle speeds. Its Handling and stiffness characteristics straight from the Cervelo road models.
Technologies featured in the P2 include an oversize bottom bracket for stiffness and Smartwall for Carbon. Smartwall uses extra material on the tube sides for excellent stiffness at a much lower weight. Cervelo developed its TrueAero 3:1 shapes in the wind tunnel to perform optimally at bicycle speeds. Other aero features include an aero headtube, seatstays rear wheel cutout and internal cable routing
