The Pro4 Endurance is the replacement of the ever-popular Krylion tire. If your focus is on high mileage and a tire that doesn't leave its rubber on the road, the Endurance is a great choice.
What is most interesting about this tire is how it performs. Most long lasting tires have horrible handling manners, whereas the Endurance handle better than some racing/performance tires that we have ridden. The dual-compound tread is designed to provide resistance to wear and enhanced grip when leaning through corners. The colored compound strip is used on the shoulders of the tire for a very high level of grip on wet roads, while the compound used for the center of the tread delivers greater protection against punctures and impact damage.
Beyond the tread, Michelin engineers paid a lot of attention to the casing for the tires strength and durability. The combination of the 110tpi casing and bead-to-bead breaker layer provides outstanding resistance to cuts and tears and offers supreme durability.
