    Excellent sadle. Very comfortable despite the feather weight. Cut out is a big improvement for me vs. the original SLR. I recommend it to all wanting a high performance, light weight and comfortable saddle.

    this saddle is very comfortable and it looks awesome. my only complaint would be the weight. Mine came in at 141g’s unlike what it says on the saddle. its advertised weight is 120g’s. too bad

    I love this saddle! As a weight weenie, I was looking to drop some substantial weight in my quest for a sub 14lb bike. I’ve used cutout saddles since 1997 and, they do their job, I haven’t had a numbness issue since I switched- I’ve used selle italia’s trans am max and trans am as well as a forte cutout saddle and most recently, the selle san marco magma mgc (not a cutout but a recessed channel). The only one that was a total disaster was the magma-- no flex, no give, no numbness but it was painful to ride over 30 miles. I DID NOT BUY MY SLR flow from Excel- they weren’t carrying it when I bought it, I got mine from overseas (for an extra $40)-- This saddle is quite similar to the trans am, only lighter, much lighter- mine came in on the heavy side at 132g and it’s got some flex and its extremely comfortable (for me). It’s always nice to not give up comfort and knock off almost 100g!
