Wind-tunnel testing has confirmed the importance of aero helmets ability to lower drag and save time. An aero helmet along with an efficient position can give the same or more benefits than an aero frame or wheels! As the speed increases so do the benefits of an aero helmet.

The Giro Selector is the latest generation of aero helmets from Giro and features a tailored approach to aerodynamics. It combines a smooth front profile with either of two different lower fairings. This allows you to optimized the helmet for the best aerodynamics based on anatomy, riding position and even course conditions. Any rider who has tried an aero helmet but couldn't get a smooth line from the helmet to body will appreciate the Giro Selector.

The selector's smooth front does include a vented eye shield that aligns with deep internal ventilation channels to allow cool fresh air in, direct it across the rider's head and then expel heated air out the back. A Thermoformed SL Roll Cage reinforces the helmet for impact protection. The helmet pads are made with antimicrobial, silver-fiber X-static to eliminate odor and provide long lasting performance.

The Selector features the Roc Loc® 5 TT retention system for easier fit, better security, 40% lighter weight and improved strength. The Roc Loc 5 has a small, ratcheting, micro-adjustable dial that can be turned with two fingers for a super-easy on the fly adjustment. The Roc Loc 5 also has a low-profile, three-position vertical fit tab that allows for up to 15mm of up-and-down adjustment.
