Like the Stealth 10, The Stealth 50 is simple to operate and easy to use. GPS technology mean there is no need to install a separate sensor. Essential, just turn it on, enter your time zone and you are ready to go. The Stealth 50 has ANT+ meaning it will work with your ANT+ power, cadence and speed sensors. Cateye also offers its ANT+ heart rate and speed/cadence sensors separately.
The Stealth 50 is a little smaller than an Edge 500 but has large numbers that are easy to read. It lets you track basic cycling data and combine with power, heart rate and cadence data to target and reach training goals. You can upload ride data with the included USB cradle to web-based training sites, such as CatEyeAtlas.com, Strava and TrainingPeaks, where you can visualize your activity, analyze performance and share your ride. Other features include a full-time backlight, auto-stop/start and programmable odometer. The Stealth 50 is waterproof, USB rechargeable and can be used on multiple bikes, so you'll always be ready to ride.
The upper display does current speed. The middle display has a clock or power if your use a power meter. The lower display toggles between elapsed time, heart rate, cadence, trip distance, average speed, maximum speed, total distance and date.
