Jagwire starts with a piece of die-extruded stainless steel and then add a layer of Teflon. The idea is simple. The stainless resists stretching while the Teflon reduces drag and friction. Due to the Teflon coating, these are sometimes referred to as Slick cables. The come in long 2750mm length, so they will work with just about any application. The cable end is universal mountain for brake, so these are not compatible with road brake levers.
