Some consider the UnD Shurt Tank as the world's first base layer. During the time of it's arrival on the scene, we would estimate over half the European peloton was using one. The design hasn't changed and doesn't need to. It is a snug fitting tailored shirt that fits like a second skin, void of bunching and sagging fabric. Beyond fit, the wicking and venting is superb. It is no wonder that we sell tons of these winners with each passing season.
The UnD Shurt Tank is constructed from DeFeet's 3oz knitted mesh MicroSupreme acrylic fiber. These fibers produce a unique polarity of acrylic which quickly draws moisture away from your skin to the outer layers of the base layer and then to your jersey. Keeping you dry and cool is what the base layer is all about. This fabric offers almost unmatched comfort due to the soft and fine hand which is much akin to cashmere. All ends are double stitched and hemmed for durability when riding and washing the garment. The combination of fit, comfort and performance is the perfect trilogy in creating a fantastic base layer and the UnD Shurt excels in all three fields.
