The Ritchey WCS Carbon MonoCurve one piece handlebar/stem uses Ritchey most popular bar bend to provide an aggressive and comfortable position combined with an unmatched stiffness to weight ratio.

This bar/stem combo really increase the stiffness and virtually eliminates the flex of a traditional bar and stem. Perfect for sprinters, track riders or anyone who desires a very solid front end. It almost goes without saying that it looks super-cool too. Ritchey uses a C260-style forged alloy steerer tube slot with a three-bolt clamp system to radically reduce steerer stress and provide a super secure interface to the steerer.

Ritchey selected their popular EvoCurve bend with a 4 degree back sweep and a slightly flattened top section for a fantastic balance of comfort combined with an athletic, racing position. A cable groove on the bottom of the bar allows for clean cable routing cable. An oversize Ritchey logo on the front enhances the Monocurve's already awesome, race ready looks.     I was a little hesitant to get a bar / stem combo I could not adjust and I like my hoods in a certain spot, drops at certain angle..... It took me about a month to adjust to these since they were different than what I had been using the past few years. Once I got used to the position the benefits really became evident. They are really stiff! I now feel really comfortable in a super tuck, and can take one hand off at 30-40 mph and drink while the other hand on the drop has control of the bike. Between the stiff front end of my bike and these bar/stem I have never had a more solid ride.

    Pros: stiff, more control

    Cons: cost, lack of adjustibility
