Refined by pro racer Mark Weir the WeirWolf LT (LT stands for low tread) couples the large volume of a downhill tire with the fast rolling, low profile tread of an XC race tire making this tire extremely versatile. It performs well any many disciplines from XC to Super D to light duty DH races. The lightweight and supple casing soaks up trail chatter and the densely packed side knobs hold firm in corners.

This TCS version of the Weirwolf features WTB's Tubeless Compatible System (TCS), meaning, the tire uses a standard casing with a UST compatible bead. Basically, it forgoes the butyl rubber that is molded around the inside of the casing and bead. Use some sealant, and you will have a reliable tubeless set up that weights less.
