For 2015, Ridley gave the X-Fire striking gloss black graphics over stealth matte black. The Ridley X-Fire frameset is one of the most popular carbon fiber Cyclocross framesets to date. Not a company to rest on their laurels, Ridley took the World Champion pedigree X-Fire and refined a few key details. The most significant change from past models is the internal cable routing for both mechanical and electronic. This means the cables won't collect mud or get in the way when it comes time to carry. Full-length housing also keeps out potential water, dirt and corrosion and makes cable replacement easy.
The full 24T carbon frame features the requisite oversize down tube and bottom bracket for exceptional power transfer but has the low weigh and ride quality need to win world championships. A matching full carbon fork rotates on a 1.5" lower bearing for rock-solid handling and shudder-free breaking. The flattened top tube along with the internally routed cables make shouldering the X-Fire super-fast and comfortable.
Ridley cross frames have a somewhat high standover making them size on the large side. If you are in-between sizes, you will likely want to go with the smaller size.
