This adapter joins a Shimano rear brake caliper(which is a post mount) to an IS mount frame. In case you are wondering why this item gets the XTR designation, it is due to the extra machining/drilled channel for weight reduction. Choose from 140mm or 160mm depending on what size rear rotor you are running.
