This is the stock bar Team Sky is equipped with for the 2018 season. Pinarello coordinated the aero frame, headset, stem and handlebar set-up as part of the process to make the Dogma F10 more aero as a complete bike. MOst is Pinarello's house component brand and makes the Jaguar XCF Di2 Aero 1K Handlebar available to all cyclists. The sleek, clean finish of the 1K carbon fiber has been drooled over by many the last few years, and it is laid up here to deliver a vibration defeating, windcheating, fully functional road handlebar that many cyclists will truly appreciate.

The designer applied their experience of making aluminum aero road handlebars, but with carbon the bar can lighter, stiffer and more comfortable to ride. The flat oval tops feel natural and supportive when you need to take the pressure off and let the peloton carry you. The 80mm reach sets up perfectly with today's road levers for several choices of ideal set-up's, while the FP curve leads to a 125mm drop that somehow feels larger. The radius gives you greater access to the levers from the drops and plenty of bar to work with when the sprint is on. That clearance is enhanced the FP design, an abbreviated rounding of the top into the curve, eliminating that "right angle" that can catch your wrist under serious leverage action.

At 245 grams in a size 42cm (o-o), the Jaguar XCF Di2 Aero 1k Handlebar isn't a super lightweight bar, but it is very competitive with similar designs. The big news for the 2018 version is the integrated cable routing that was developed specifically with the Shimano Dura-Ace R9150 series Di2 e-Tube wiring system. This is done without compromising strength or stiffness, and creates a super clean cockpit when wired up. And you know, it is good enough for Team Sky. So maybe you won't ride for the cycling powerhouse, but you can ride the same equipment. That's one reason to be thankful for the UCI.
