Description

Do you want the ability to program your light to tailor it's output to your event or riding requirements? Do you require the 3600 Lumen max output as a starting point? If so, you belong to an elite cadre of mountain bike racers who will love the NiteRider Pro 3600 DIY LED Remote. This core group actually drives the development of such lights and pushes manufacturers to make them, brighter, lighter, stronger, more efficient- but now more personalized as well. The ability to pre-set the output based on definitive course and trail requirements eliminates the need for the rider to manually change modes. There is also another group- the bike geeks- who actually use these lights as well. Having the ability using NiteRider's customizing software is too great to pass up. At 3600 Lumens with the ultra precise Borofloat lens system, this Pro 3600 is as bright and clear as the high-end headlights found in luxury cars today, and now you have programming control over how it performs.

The standard options alone are well-thought. Keeping perspective, the Low setting on this light will produce 1000 Lumens for 6 hours using the 8 cell Li-Ion battery. Most trail rides and races require substantial lighting, but not the extreme range for long periods of time. If you want to run the Pro 3600 to the max, you will get 1.5 hrs worth. Cut that down to Medium at 1800 Lumens and you get 3.5 hours. You have a tremendous range of stock set-up options, and can program the light with those ranges or establish your own. When you have need in programmed or stock modes, the handlebar remote switch keeps adjustment simple and safe with your hands at the controls.

AC Charging time for this 839 gram system is only 5 hours, so it is possible to recharge during a multi-rider event. Keep in mind that you also get a Race mode at 450 Lumens for 16.5 hours, and 3 Flash modes as well and you know you have a light that covers your full range of needs on the trail. Don’t worry, it is a NiteRider. The unit is solid, the cables are military grade, the mounting stable and secure. You can run a helmet mount, but our guess is most riders will feel badly about the possibility of blinding friends and fellow riders and will use this dual beam scorcher from the handlebar. The ability to program, or run the light in standard mode is a huge selling point for serious racers, but many riders will find the DIY system incredibly useful. You have control of your wheel size, tires, gearing, saddle, and so on, and now you have the ability to customize your lighting, with the NiteRider Pro 3600 DIY LED Remote lighting system
