Development and refinement of the Dogma F10 Disc began with Pro Tour rider feedback and their dream improvements. Add in incredibly technical computing software and iterative testing via CFD and the wind tunnel. Clearly the design is the spawn of the F8, but also the Bolide TT bike, which had already influenced the fork design and FlatBack aerodynamic tube shapes. The fork flaps behind the front dropouts were first spotted on Bradley Wiggins hour record bike, then the Bolide itself. Pinarello tapped into Toray's T1100-1k carbon fiber for stronger, lighter material which allowed the engineers to strip away more excess. You can now more clearly identify the asymmetric design process that strengthens the frameset from the fork dropout to the rear wheel dropout against the forces that come from the drivetrain on the right side of the bike, as well as factoring in the hub based disc braking forces. T1100 offered the opportunity to refine that engineering to reflect the properties of the carbon itself. The superb Think2 internal cabling system takes advantage of the new shape of the down tube fro a cleaner overall look. The eTap Disc DEMO comes with two eTap batteries and the USB powered charging dock.
