The primary yarn is Meryl®,(55%) a fiber that won't absorb moisture, is inherently smooth and soft, and is treated to be bacteriostatic. It can be woven into a mesh for max breathability like you see on the top of the sock, or woven directionally, along with Spandex (10%) and/or Lycra (20%) to effect compression or deliver proper fit. Polymide (15%) fibers are added for strength, wear and durability. You can see the directional foot base, and Achilles support, the foot-top mesh, and the compressive weave for the cuff. The visual cues speak directly to anatomic and performance functionality, right down the flat stitch toe and reinforced heel.
