An anodized aluminum finish is quite durable to the constant use of fixed gear riding. The SG75 is NJS approved because it meets those stringent Japanese track racing standards. You can mount any 144 BCD chainrings (1/8 or 3/32 pitch) that are designed for a 42mm chainline, which is the general standard found on track frames with 120mm rear dropouts and true track hubs. Please keep in mind that you must use the SG75 or SG75 SuperLap bottom bracket, and you cannot use a JIS taper design.
