The ThruRide Carrier is typically Thule in most respects. Very well thought out, well executed, easy to install, simple to use, and compatible with the One-Key lock cylinder system. Operation of the locking hood and thru-axle clamping mechanism can be achieved with one hand. The dial-style adjuster opens and closes for firm hold on the axle, and the levered locking hood clamps firmly into place. Ultimate security comes when the system is locked with a One-Key core. The stiff, extruded aluminum tray provides torsional strength front to back, and is both light and has anti-corrosive properties. The raised rear wheel block slides to accommodate any wheelbase length, and has a tough nylon ratcheting strap that will both secure the wheel and protect your rim.
