The Arundel Sideloader addresses a specific clearance problem with compact geometry frames and smaller frame sizes. When the top tube slopes aggressively or sits close to the seat tube, pulling a bottle straight up out of a traditional cage becomes difficult or impossible. The Sideloader opens to the right side, so you pull the bottle horizontally rather than vertically. This works on frames where vertical clearance is tight but horizontal space is available.

Arundel makes two versions of this cage because fitment is directional. The Sideloader mounts on the seat tube with right side entry. The OtherSideloader mounts on the down tube with right side entry. If you're outfitting a standard road frame, you need one of each. Left-handed riders or anyone who prefers non-drive side access can swap the positions. The shape follows the same profile as Arundel's Dave-O cage, with wide arms and a curved wrap that holds bottles securely without relying on extreme tension.

The carbon fiber construction uses either a 3K weave or UD layup depending on which version you select. Both layup styles keep the weight at 30 grams while providing enough stiffness to prevent the cage from flexing when you're inserting bottles on the move.
