The bonkaSock evo7 is similar to the Assos fuguSock except is lower volume. Due to the slightly lower volume, it really makes the perfect 3 season sock. Merino wool is perfectly suited for the Bonka socks because the individual wool strands are naturally hydrophobic at one end and hydrophilic on the other. This means the water is held by the hydrophobic end, then transported and repelled by the hydrophilic side. This causes an organic wicking effect that works with surgical precision. Assos adds a Polyamide yarn and bioceramic thread to the weave matrix which speeds up the wicking process and adds durability with extra anti-bacterial protection.

This perfect combination of material is then woven in varying densities around the foot to provide extra warmth or lower volume depending on the area. For example the ankles have more yarn to keep them warmer while the top cuff has less volume, but more elastic to keep them in place. Complete anatomic fit eliminates bunching of material. Possibly the perfect cycling sock for many conditions.
