Campagnolo brought back the Record name for 2026, and the Record 13 X gravel groupset shares the same wireless 13-speed architecture as the flagship Super Record 13, just with more cost-effective materials. Geometry, architecture and functionality share a common design foundation across Record and Super Record, which keeps component compatibility intact and shift speed identical — the differences are concentrated in material selection and finishes. Record swaps a steel cage for carbon at the rear derailleur and standard bearings for ceramic , which adds a bit of weight but brings the price down significantly. You keep the fully wireless shifting, the Nano Clutch rear derailleur, and the made-in-Italy build. This particular build is the Record X 1x13 configuration with a 40T aero chainring, 165mm crankarms, and a 10-48T cassette.

This is a true 1x gravel setup. The long cage handles cassettes up to 48 teeth , so it covers the steep, loose climbs where gravel bikes earn their keep. The Nano Clutch is the standout feature over the road derailleur — a miniaturized clutch that keeps the chain under tension even on the roughest descents, which is what stops it bouncing off the front ring. Q-factor and chainline values are set specifically for gravel use rather than carried over from the road platform , and the UnLock system lets you reposition the derailleur by hand if the system hiccups, then re-engage from the shift lever while riding.

The wireless setup means no shift cables to route or replace. The removable battery delivers up to 750km of range, and this generation charges over a standard USB-C cable, so there's no dedicated charger to keep track of — in a pinch you can even top it up off a phone .
