This outboard bearing design positions the bearings outside the frame's bottom bracket shell, which increases bearing spacing and improves lateral stiffness compared to traditional internal bearing arrangements.

These aluminum cups use a hard anodized finish that resists corrosion from road salt and frame prep chemicals. The threading matches either BSA English standard or Italian standard depending on which version you need—BSA cups fit 68-millimeter-wide shells with 1.37-inch diameter threading, while Italian cups fit 70-millimeter-wide shells with 36-millimeter-by-24-threads-per-inch specifications.
