Description

Bottom bracket bearings sit directly in your pedaling force path, which means friction here costs you watts on every stroke. CeramicSpeed's BSA bottom bracket uses grade three silicon nitride ceramic balls that are harder and rounder than steel bearings, creating measurably lower rolling resistance where your crank spindle rotates. The system works with BSA threaded frames and twenty-four millimeter spindle cranks from Shimano, FSA, Rotor, and similar manufacturers. You get a choice between standard bearings or coated bearings that extend service life through a three-micron metallic coating on the races.

The coating makes a tangible difference in durability. Standard bearings already outlast most factory bottom brackets, but the coated version pushes this further by creating a harder running surface that resists contamination and wear. CeramicSpeed backs this with a four-year warranty on standard bearings and a lifetime warranty on coated versions. The lifetime coverage reflects genuine confidence in the coated bearing's ability to handle whatever weather and road conditions you encounter. When bearings do eventually need service, the cups accept replacement bearings rather than requiring a complete bottom bracket replacement.

The kit arrives complete with threaded cups, bearings pre-installed, dust covers with integrated spacers, a centering spacer tube, and grease formulated for ceramic bearings. Having spacers built into the dust covers eliminates loose parts during installation and reduces the chances of misplacing critical components. The included grease protects against moisture while maintaining the low-friction characteristics that make ceramic bearings worthwhile in the first place.... Read More
