Description
The Cervélo S5 Ultegra Di2 Bicycle (Model Year 2025) is an aerodynamic powerhouse, meticulously refined to push speed and performance to new heights. By deepening frame sections and maximizing UCI-allowed shapes, Cervélo has reduced drag by 65 grams while increasing the surface area and shaving overall weight. The iconic V-stem has been further refined for improved aerodynamics and adjustability, and a newly designed fork simplifies the front-end structure. A collaboration with Reserve has led to a cutting-edge wheel design that enhances stability and reduces drag in turbulent aero conditions. Optimized for wider wheels and tires, the S5 comes equipped with 28mm tires but has clearance for up to 34mm, complementing the Reserve 52/63 wheelset and delivering an additional 5-watt energy savings over previous models. The latest UCI aerodynamic regulations allowed for a deeper head tube, a more aggressively shaped bottom bracket area, and refined trailing edges, ensuring this remains one of the fastest aero bikes on the market.
The S5 is engineered for precision and adaptability, making it easier than ever for riders to dial in their perfect fit. The V-stem's simplified design now includes one bolt length and all necessary spacers, reducing complexity and weight by 53g. The handlebars have been redesigned for enhanced comfort, featuring a two-bolt interface that allows infinite tilt adjustments between 0 and 5 degrees, ensuring a smooth bar-to-hood transition. The seat post has also been revised, with most sizes now featuring a 15mm offset rather than the previous 25mm, reflecting the evolving preferences of professional bike fitters. For those seeking a more extreme fit, the outgoing 400mm-long, 25mm offset post remains available. The S5 is exclusively compatible with electronic shifting, accommodating connectors up to 6mm in diameter but not supporting mechanical shifting or Campagnolo EPS systems.
Equipped with top-tier components, the S5 Ultegra Di2 features a Cervélo All-Carbon Bayonet S5 Fork, Cervélo ST35 Carbon Stem, and Cervélo HB14 Carbon Handlebar for superior handling and aerodynamics. The Shimano Ultegra 12-speed drivetrain ensures crisp and efficient shifting, paired with a Shimano Ultegra 52/36T crankset and a 4iiii Precision Pro GEN3+ dual-sided power meter for performance tracking. Braking is handled by Shimano Ultegra calipers and CL800 Centerlock rotors for confident stopping power. The bike rolls on Reserve 52/63 tubeless-compatible wheels, featuring a Zipp ZR1 ST hub system for durability and speed. Accessories include a Cervélo faceplate front computer mount and a rear accessory mount, ensuring the bike is race-ready with all the essentials. Available in sizes 48 through 61, the S5 Ultegra Di2 is designed for riders who demand uncompromising speed, adjustability, and cutting-edge aerodynamics.
