Tire clearance opens to 36mm, verified with a measured 36mm tire sitting inside 44mm of rear frame clearance and 48mm at the fork. That headroom lets you run wider rubber for rougher pavement without the tire crowding the frame, and it broadens what the Soloist can do beyond smooth race circuits. The front brake uses an S5-style fork mount and is 160mm front rotor compatible only, so plan any rotor swaps around that spec. A UDH-compatible rear dropout and T47 BBright bottom bracket keep the frame current with the wider component ecosystem.

The build is a full SRAM Force AXS E1 wireless 12-speed group with nothing left to chase. A 48/35T DUB crankset with an integrated QUARQ powermeter feeds a 10-33T cassette, covering flat-out efforts and steep pitches without gaps that leave you between gears. Shifting runs wireless front and rear with no cables to route or maintain, and the electronic system holds calibration ride after ride. Force AXS E1 shifters and derailleurs handle the changes while powermeter data streams to any compatible head unit. Braking comes from SRAM Force hydraulic discs on Paceline Center Lock rotors, mounted to DT Swiss 350 hubs.

Wheels are Reserve carbon, running a 42mm front rim and a 49mm rear on the DT Swiss 350 hubset, tubeless-ready and shod with Vittoria Corsa N.EXT TLR G2.0 tires in 700x29c. The depth split puts the shallower rim up front for crosswind stability and the deeper rim out back where the aero payoff is cleanest. The HB18 one-piece carbon cockpit is the integrated bar/stem on this build, and it runs 5.8 watts faster and 134 grams lighter than the outgoing HB13, so the front-end gains carry through to the contact points. The HB18 also qualifies for Cervelo's Handlebar Swap Program if your fit calls for a different width or reach. The SP27 carbon seatpost uses the new S5- and P5-style clamp and cover, saving 12 grams over the previous design, and a Fizik Arione R3 saddle finishes the contact points.

The last piece is the aero bottle system. Round bottles disrupt airflow through the front triangle, and the Soloist's WB003 bottles are 9 watts faster than a pair of round bottles in the same position. Cervelo engineers held two non-negotiables during development: the bottles stand upright on their own so you can fill and mix a drink without juggling, and the cages still accept a standard round bottle so you can grab one at an aid station, from neutral service, or off a friend at the roadside. The design also retains access to in-frame storage. This build includes the WB003 Aero Bottle and Cage plus front and rear accessory mounts and a computer mount, so the setup stays clean and race-ready straight off the floor.
