This is a once in decade deal on a 2014 Colnago CLX 3.0 factory equipped Ultegra 6800 11-speed complete bicycle. The only items they require to make them road worthy are a pair of pedals. Check out what you get for the price and you should find that this offering is unprecedented in value and quality for the price point. Beyond unlocking value, the CLX 3.0 is the final word on versatility. Pilot it in the local group ride, fondo or race it in your local crit. The CLX does it all with exceptional stability, comfort and a pedigree of unsurpassed reliability.
The frameset features an oversize fork that now rotates on a 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" headset for more confidence during high-speed descents. The top tube features an internally routed rear brake cable. Like all of Colnago models, the CLX 3.0 sports more square chain stays for better stiffness during climbs and sprints. The paint finish is textbook Colnago which is both intricate and beautiful. At 1180 grams for a 54cm frameset, The CLX 3.0 is fairly light, but more importantly, it strikes us as built to last. The tubes of Colnago frames are built with an advanced filament winding system. This process, which is performed over a solid, stainless steel INOX core, yields a highly consistent wall thickness. Layers of carbon are compressed with extremely high pressures. This advanced process limits excess resin in the composite, reducing weight while increasing strength.
Frame integrity is a crucial aspect of Colnago design. Their frames and forks are tested in the Colnago Lab to withstand impacts far beyond international standards, and to retain their strength after impact. That means your Colnago can still be ridden to the finish if the worst happens.
An Ultegra 11-speed drivetrain means ultrafast front shifting with the refined feel only Shimano provides.

A word on sizing. Colnago describes the frame size as the actual seat tube length from the center of the bottom bracket to about the middle of the seat collar extension. Most manufacturers list virtual sizes on sloping top tube frames (the size to frame would feel like if the bike had a horizontal top tube). We strongly suggest sizing off the virtual top tube length and head tube length. This means you generally want to 3-4cm to Colnago's sloping size to compare with other frames. For example, a 52s Colnago will compare to a 55 or 56cm in other frames.
