The Ultegra R8170 Di2 groupset runs 12-speed semi-wireless electronic shifting with hydraulic disc brakes and Center Lock rotors. The front brake mounts to an S5-style fork interface that accepts a 160mm front rotor only. The R8100 crankset pairs 52/36T chainrings with an 11-34T cassette, and the build integrates a 4iiii Precision Pro GEN3+ dual-sided powermeter. Dual-sided measurement captures true left/right balance from the first ride rather than extrapolating total output from a single-leg estimate, and it is built into this spec rather than added later. The 4iiii unit mounts to both crankarms and reports power, cadence, and left/right balance over ANT+ and Bluetooth.

Reserve carbon wheels sit on DT Swiss 350 hubs front and rear, both tubeless compatible with Center Lock mounting. The 42TA front laces to a 12x100mm axle and the 49TA rear runs a 12x142mm HG freehub, both built with 24 spokes. The DT Swiss 350 hub uses the Ratchet LN system, giving reliable engagement and straightforward service without proprietary tools. Vittoria Corsa N.EXT TLR G2.0 tires in 700x29c wrap the rims. Frame clearance reaches 36mm, so there is room to size up for rougher roads or lower pressures when the route demands it.

The one-piece HB18 bar/stem combination is central to the Soloist's speed, running 5.8 watts faster and 134 grams lighter than the previous HB13 cockpit. During development, Cervelo produced additional stem length and bar width combinations so riders can dial in a fit close to their target without giving up the aero and weight benefits of the integrated cockpit, and the bar is eligible for the Handlebar Swap Program. An SP27 Carbon seatpost with a redesigned clamp and cover, similar to the S5 and P5, saves 12 grams, and a Fizik Arione R3 saddle finishes the contact points. The FSA T47 bottom bracket and IS2 headset handle the interfaces, while Cervelo's own rear accessory mount and front computer/accessory mount 266 keep electronics and storage tucked into the airflow.

The build ships with Cervelo's WB003 Aero Bottle and Cage system, which the engineering team measured at 9 watts faster than a pair of round bottles. The bottles stand up on their own for filling and adding drink mix, and the cages accept a standard round bottle so you can take a hand-up from an aid station, neutral service, or a teammate. The design retains access to in-frame storage and the cages clear most aftermarket round bottles.
