Description

Standard 27.2mm seatpost diameter means you're not locked into proprietary parts, and the Cervelo SP19 Carbon Seatpost takes advantage of that universality while adding engineered compliance to the ride. Cervelo designed this post with intentional vertical flex in the carbon layup, absorbing road chatter before it reaches your sit bones. The UD carbon construction handles vibration damping across a range of frequencies, which matters most on long gravel rides or rough chip-seal pavement. While this post ships as original equipment on the Aspero, Aspero-5, Caledonia, and Rouvida, the round 27.2mm diameter means it works on any frame with that seat tube spec.

Three offset options cover the range of saddle positions riders need. The zero-offset version keeps the saddle rails directly over the post center, which suits riders with a forward position or those on frames with already-slack seat tube angles. The 15mm setback shifts your weight slightly rearward, and the 25mm option provides traditional road bike positioning for riders who need more distance behind the bottom bracket. The 350mm total length accommodates most frame sizes, with a minimum insertion depth of 65mm (70mm on the 15mm offset version) marked on the post for safe installation.

The SP19 ships complete with the saddle clamp head assembly, unlike earlier Cervelo posts that required a separate head purchase. The two-bolt clamp accepts both 7mm steel rails and carbon oval rails, with aluminum mounting plates and stainless steel hardware handling the interface. Saddle angle adjusts independently of fore-aft position, so you can fine-tune tilt without shifting your setback. The matte UD carbon finish keeps the visual profile understated, with minimal branding that blends into most builds. If you're replacing a stock post or upgrading from alloy on a compatible frame, the SP19 delivers noticeable comfort improvement without adding weight.
