Description
Replacing a cracked or missing cable guide on a P-Series frame isn't optional—without this piece, your shift and brake housing has nowhere to go as it transitions from the stem area into the top tube. The Cervelo Toptube Cable Guide fills the routing gap at the front of the top tube on P2, P3, and P5 frames, giving cable housing a smooth entry point and keeping everything secured during the ride.
This guide does double duty as both a routing channel and a cover plate. It aligns with Cervelo's integrated top tube provisions, following the frame's contour so housing enters the internal routing path without kinking or binding. The design stabilizes cables at a high-motion junction where pedaling forces and handlebar inputs would otherwise cause housing to shift and rub against the frame. That movement creates friction, wears through housing faster, and eventually degrades shift and brake feel.
Installation uses Cervelo's designated mounting points on the top tube, and the guide ships with the necessary hardware to secure it properly. One compatibility note worth flagging: if you're running the 3T Aduro aerobar system on a P5, this guide isn't needed because the Aduro's integrated plate handles the cable routing duties. This part is for P2, P3, and P5 builds using traditional stem and extension setups where the housing needs a dedicated path into the frame.... Read More
