The inflator head works with 12, 16, 20, and 25 gram threaded cartridges, so you can use whatever size fits your tire volume needs. This kit includes two 16 gram cartridges, which handle most road and gravel tires without issue. The inflator weighs 45 grams and fits easily into a saddle bag or jersey pocket alongside the cartridges.

You thread the cartridge all the way into the inflator, push the head onto your valve, then back the cartridge out a quarter turn to release the gas. The Presta-only design keeps the head compact, and the threaded interface means you can swap cartridge sizes depending on what you're riding. A 16 gram cartridge will get a road tire up to riding pressure, while mountain bike tires usually need a 20 or 25 gram cartridge for enough volume.
