The Crank Brothers M20 packs 20 tools into a folding multi-tool that weighs 203 grams with its storage case. The high tensile steel construction holds up to regular use without flexing at the tool tips, and Crank Brothers backs it with a lifetime warranty. The storage case clips directly onto the multi-tool body and holds two tubeless tire plugs plus a fork-style plug installation tool. You can also use the case to store chain quick links or other small parts. The case measures 89mm by 48mm by 19mm when closed, so it fits in most jersey pockets or saddle bags without taking up much space.

The tool includes hex wrenches in 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm sizes, which covers most modern mountain bike hardware. The 8mm wrench is an open-end design rather than a hex key, which gives you more leverage for pedal installation or removal. Spoke wrenches handle size 0, 1, and 2 nipples, and the chain tool works with 8 through 12-speed chains for breaking only. The integrated rotor straightener lets you fix minor disc brake rub without needing a separate tool, and the valve core remover handles Presta valve cores when you need to add sealant or adjust valve tightness.

The tubeless plug tool uses a fork design that grabs the stem of the plug and pushes it through from inside the tire.
